Iron Ore Mine and Quality Map

A geospatial reference that maps major iron ore mines worldwide and characterises their ore quality, infrastructure and trade connections — with a focus on relevance for hydrogen-based ironmaking routes.

What we track

For each mine, the map brings together core operational, geographic and trade attributes that shape the supply of iron ore to low-carbon ironmaking.
